Eligibility

Those who enroll for the semester as a student of the CNU Yeosu campus are eligible to move into a dormitory. However, those who are submitted to disciplinary actions, including suspension from school, based on school regulations, those who contract a variety of contagious diseases, and those who are deemed inappropriate for communal living by the Director of the CNU Yeosu Residence Hall are not allowed to move into a dormitory for a certain period.
※ In order to create an academic atmosphere and prevent theft, non-residents are not allowed to go in and out of dormitories without permission.

Move-in expenses

The Residence Hall expenses are determined for each semester, with maintenance fees and meal expenses. Maintenance fees are determined according to the number of opening days of the Residence Hall. The entire expenses can vary every year, which is considered necessary to refer to announcements on the website for further details.

Move-in procedure

  1. 1. Check the number of the room that you chose at the entrance on the first floor of a dormitory building or at the website on the day of move-in.
  2. 2. Go through move-in report procedures at a maintenance room on the first floor of your dormitory building.
  3. 3. After finishing move-in verification procedures, receive your room key and store your belongings neatly and tidily in your room.
  4. 4. Check the room equipment and on finding any problems, immediately notify a maintenance or administration officer for further action.
    • Expenses are charged for damaged equipment after leaving a dormitory room, which can lead to restrictions on future move-in
    • A desk, a bookshelf, a chair, a wardrobe and a bed with a mattress
  5. 5. After cleaning, all the garbage should be discharged at a designated place outside each dormitory building.
  6. 6. A resident should go through entry fingerprint registration for meals and use the cafeteria after checking fingerprint certification for the chosen meal type.
  7. 7. Residents cannot alter their dormitory buildings and rooms at random.
  8. 8. Residents should go through move-in verification procedures.
  9. 9. For orderly, comfortable communal living, residents should fully understand the "Residence Hall Residents'' Regulations."
For orderly communal living, all residents should abide by the “Resident Regulations." Disadvantages for being selected as residents for the following semester can arise if penalties for violating regulations exceed seven points (restrictions on move-in for a semester prohibiting move-in for the following semester)
Checking reward and penalty points: Residence Hall website / Checking My Page (A resident should check his or her penalty points as frequently as possible to avoid any possible disadvantages. Penalty points are valid until a resident leaves the dormitory for the relevant year)

Personal items to bring for move-in

Personal bedding (blankets, a pillow, etc.)
Basic livelihood items including toiletry articles, shoes, clothes and detergent(s)

Forbidden personal items

To prevent fire, hazardous items and various electric heating appliances including coffee pots, electric mattress pads, electric irons, gas burners, electric heaters and radiators, along with other items that could damage a refrigerator and/or other residents, such as musical instruments and pet animals, are strongly forbidden in the dormitory. When the above-mentioned items are found, penalty points are imposed, along with a compulsory move-out.

Interim move-in

Move-in application period

  1. ① Applicants will be separately contacted during the semester according to the waiting order, based on the regular application period.
  2. ② After selecting the waiting order based on the regular application period, application is made on a first-come, first-served basis at 2 p.m. every Monday.
    ( It is not applicable when the remaining days of a semester is below 30. )

How to apply

To apply for move-in, click "Move-in application" on the CNU Yeosu Residence Hall website

Payment period

From 10 a.m. on Tuesday to 4 p.m. on Wednesday of the week of application
( For Residence Hall expenses, contact and inquire at an administration office at ++82-61-659-6812-4 before making a payment )

Move-in procedure

After paying Residence Hall expenses, register your fingerprints at an administration office and enter the dormitory room.
※ In the case of an interim move-in, Residence Hall expenses will be levied considering the remaining days.
